Bio: Jeff Johns is a freelance photographer, journalist and documentary filmmaker who currently lives in the Los Angeles, CA area. Johns was born in 1984 in Washington, D.C. where he attended the Washington Waldorf School for 12 years. He then attended the University of Redlands for 3 years before leaving to persue volunteer work abroad as well as a degree in visual journalism. After living, working and traveling in places such as Thailand, the Philippines and Bangladesh he started at the Brooks Institute in May 2007 pursuing a degree in Visual Journalism. He is currently in his third year and will graduate with a BA in April, 2010.
